Caracola
While last year about my weakness for this beach on my Personal Blog and explained the special use that I give, The Conch is one of the more deserving Margarita be reviewed.
I feel at this moment writing in a notebook sitting by the sea, when they are exactly at 5.15 pm. Although the breeze makes me a bit of writing, the smell of evening wraps and makes me not give importance to everyday problems.
The Conch extends parallel to one of the main avenues in Porlamar, La Avenida Bolivar. Is a narrow strip of white sand of 2,200 meters long and its banks accumulate many small stones and shells that many gather for decoration.
Although there is a beach that I recommend to enjoy the proximity to the city and the lack of services (restaurants, restrooms, showers, tents), this beach is frequented by residents of the island and Some tourists staying at hotels in Porlamar.
In a bygone era was the meeting place of choice for young people with their cars and champagne. Also some lovers who came together in one of the most romantic places from Porlamar by its spectacular view. Up close you can see the great stone Farallon is located only 3 km from the shell.
Daily automotive closes access to the beach, from 6 up to 9 am and 5 to 7 pm. At that time people take advantage of jogging, biking, skating, walking the dog, taking long walks, meditate or simply sit on the shore to enjoy nature. About half of the beach, you can see a humble craft gym where lovers of good figure lift weights, do abdominal parallel bars and outdoor. Sometimes it gets a little tent where they can enjoy a massage.
In my case, I like coming to this beach to relax a bit and enjoy the sunset. Although the sunset from this point of the island are not as wonderful as those of John Greek, Car or Macanao degradez nice to see the color to be painted in the landscape as evening falls and the temperature in the breeze make the end of the day with a rich sense of peace.
Dawns however, if they are spectacular. With a good location and with a little luck, you can see the sun leave the water and run into the soft stone Farallon emerging from the sea and is a must for divers for its rich marine life.
not want to leave this post without posting my favorite wing titled "Gratitude." The trunk is no longer there, it's a shame because it was a great place to sit and contemplate nature.
